We use a digital platform throughout the week of camp to organize the team and to ensure the children remain safe. Counselors check in each child when they arrive at activity areas and when it's time for bed. In fact, it's the same system you use to register for camp.
We are a Christian, faith-based organization - an affiliate of the Great Lakes Conference, Churches of God General Conference. We consist of 41 churches in Ohio and Michigan that are working and serving in our local communities to bring the love of God to all. We are united in a cooperative ministry to win people to Christ and to build them up in the faith.
The center of the facility houses the dining room and chapel, both just off the Sugar River. The camp property gives a more rustic setting. The bunk houses are cedar-lined and sleep multiple kids and counselors. The bunks also include large bathroom facilities with individual shower stalls. The chapel in the woods is a warm wooden structure that seats over 100 campers.
Sleeping & Eating
The center of the facility houses the dining room and chapel. The campers can choose to eat their three formal meals in the dining hall or take it outside and enjoy it picnic style. Campers may also bring their own snacks and beverages to enjoy between meals. After a long day of fun-filled activities, rest time is essential. The four bunk houses are divided up into groups based on male/female and grade level. Each bunk house will have multiple adult counselors to guide the campers. Check out the registration page for a helpful list of items to bring to make camp more enjoyable.
